A 24 room motor inn with attached restaurant and bar

This part time position requires the availability up to 6 evenings including weekends, public holidays and week nights, approximately 20 to 30 hours per week, however, will lead to full time role for the right candidate.

Essential Requirements include:
Passion for cooking and presenting fantastic food
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate regarded and experience in safe food handling
Demonstrated experience in a similar environment – restaurant, café, bistro, tavern or hotel and catering for functions
Ability to work independently
Food stock control and ordering knowledge
Excellent time management and communication skills
Experience in European cuisine regarded

Duties include:
Food preparation and presentation
Catering for small functions for up to 40 people
Ensuring menus, food standards, procedures and processes are followed
Maximise profitable food revenue
Ability to maintain a clean, compliant and efficient kitchen
Supervise kitchen employees
